We Believe In
God the Father as the creator, ruler, and redeemer of mankind.
Jesus Christ, God the Son, who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead.
The Holy Spirit as our guide and comforter who empowers believers to fulfill God’s vision and purpose for their lives.
We Believe That
Humans willfully sin against God and are consequently lost and without hope apart from a restored relationship with Him.
The Bible is divinely inspired by God, error-free in its original writings, and the true source for knowing His will.
The church is a faith community consisting of Christians everywhere whose purpose and practice are defined and described in the New Testament.

COMMUNITY
We were designed as relational beings by a relational God. The abundant life that Jesus came to bring (John 10:10) is found in community with others who are confirming their lives to His example.
So in Christ we, though many, form one body and each member belongs to all the others. (Romans 12:5)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)
KINGDOM
The Church is distinct from any other community in this world because of its foundation on God’s Truth. In Scripture we find the explanation and invitation to join God’s Kingdom and live by His values, priorities, and purposes.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.“ (John 14:6)
CALLING
As Kingdom dwellers, our lives are not to be lived just for us. Each of us has a calling and purpose that God’s wants us to embrace. And He grants us His Holy Spirit to help us become who He created us to be to fulfill our purpose.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession (1 Peter 2:9)
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph 2:10)
Our Mission
To make disciples by connecting people in community,
teaching them the truths of God’s Kingdom,
and helping them engage their unique calling from God.
Our Vision
Over the next two years, we want every member of Connections
intentionally maturing in their faith and
influencing the people around them with the hope of Christ.
Specifically, we want to see every member:
participating in a Discipleship group — Maturing in their understanding of God’s Truth
engaged in a LifeGroup — Maturing in their application of God’s Truth
serving on a Ministry Team (inside or outside the church) — Influencing the people around them with the Heart of Jesus
equipped to share their faith with others and invite them to follow Jesus — Influencing the people around them with the Hope of Jesus
Our Values
We value helping people know they BELONG to our family by building trusting relationships.
We value teaching Biblical truths and helping people BELIEVE them.
We value helping people grow mature in their faith so they can BECOME who God created them to be.
We value engaging our community to meet needs and introduce people to Jesus.
We value stewardship of all the things God has entrusted to us for the benefit of His Kingdom and mission.
Discipleship Pathway
The path to a closer relationship with God the Father is through Jesus the Son as the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6-7).
Our Discipleship Pathway is designed to help disciples experience each of these three dimensions of Jesus:
The Way
The way of Jesus and His disciples was marked by service, sacrifice, and blessing for those who could give nothing back in return. Through opportunities and invitations, we learn how to live our lives
The Truth
Jesus’ instruction and lifestyle are foundational for a disciple. That’s why we create multiple environments and experiences to study His truth found in Scripture. Through study, discussion, dialogue, and examination we learn how to better understand and apply the truth of Jesus in our lives.
The Life
The Life of a disciple is a constant journey to align our actions, attitudes, priorities, and practices to Jesus’ example and instruction. Just like the first disciples experienced, this kind of change is best accomplished in relationship with others for encouragement, community, and accountability.
